Althea Racing out on track with the STK1000 team at Vallelunga
De Rosa and Salvadori get to grips with the 2015, STK1000-spec Panigale R.
Team Althea Racing has concluded a two-day test session, taking its Ducati Panigale R on track for the first time in its 2015 STK1000 configuration.
The two riders representing Team Althea Racing for the 2015 season, Raffaele De Rosa and Luca Salvadori, were extremely pleased with the Ducati, concluding these two days on the Italian track of Vallelunga in a positive fashion.
Despite some traffic on track, the riders and Team were able to work well, gradually finding the right feeling with the bike. Many solutions, both technical and engine-related, were tested and both Luca and Raffaele are enthusiastic and satisfied with this first exit on board the new bike.
There will be great competition ahead, but Team Althea Racing’s two riders have shown themselves to be well prepared physically and mentally and will arrive at the first race extremely motivated.
The first round of the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup will take place at the beautiful MotorLand Aragon circuit located near Alcaniz Spain on April 12th. This highly anticipated 2015 edition of the series is going to be one of the most exciting ever, with the Althea Racing duo eager to do well and to challenge for top honous aboard their Panigale R machines.
